2021 Art & Ideas Lectures at JNAAG

A few years ago, the Inventory project was invited to give an online lecture to theJNAAG in Sarnia about the Lawren S. Harris works in their collection, and use that as a jumping off point for discussing Harris’ career more generally, and some of his associations with other artists. Recordings of these talks are embedded here. The two presentations are entitled “Towards the Universal - The evolution of Lawren S. Harris' work and methods” and “Enthusiasm and Understanding: Lawren S. Harris and connections beyond the ‘Group’”.
